Annebella, our friend Arash and my niece Poppy visited lovely Totnes. Annebella used to live in a great flat up next to the clock.
Poppy and Annebella and I stayed at our Auntie Angela and Uncle David's farm. It's absolutely beautiful. It's called Keynedon Barton and is also a guesthouse. The farm is recorded in the Domesday book and has been a working farm for more than a thousand years. Today it's farmed for beef cattle, sheep and growing crops.
We took a great walk on the farmland. Poppy loves Scruffy! At one point he got lost in the hay and had to be fished out. Bit blurry photos of the pups, but aren't they cute? Then there is the stables in the courtyard.
Angela drove us along the pretty country lanes with tall hedgerows to the local beach for lunch and to explore the coast. The weather was perfect and it's just beautiful there... 60 miles of beach. And we got to visit the 13th century church where my Aunt and Uncle were married and where my Nanny is buried. We found some wildflowers and placed them there to pay our respects.
